Jennifer Riddell True North Experience Manager
I have been in the financial industry for a number of years, working in a variety of roles, ranging from working my way up tiers as a financial services manager, then specialized mortgage specialist and almost a decade in the car industry. The common factor in these roles, that has always inspired me has been the people and helping them reach their goals. Even though the financial industry can seem very mechanized, I have always enjoyed the human aspect of meeting every day needs, like helping clients complete a transaction that ends in them having a place to call home.
I have been known to wear my heart on my sleeve and my passion for helping people has lead me to my current role at True North Mortgage. As an Experience Manager, my role is to enhance the experience of clients, employees and the social presence of True North Mortgage as a company. It is my core belief that having happy employees leads to happy customers which results in higher productivity and company success.
Enhancing the experience of employees and customers are not so different, a little appreciation goes a long way. From celebrating birthdays, birth of a child or wedding of employees to personalized gifts and thank you gift cards to our clients, it is my way of letting them know that they are valued. But the appreciation doesn’t end there, it is my job to make sure we not only appreciate our clients and employees, but also by giving in the community through initiatives like our most recent TNM Diaper Drive supporting a local Calgary charity.
